OPEN LOTUS

A lotus caught at its fullest opening — the moment just before the petals begin to fade. Layered petals move from creamy white through soft yellow into pink-tipped edges, gathered around a golden, textured center.

In Hindu iconography, the open lotus represents the sun; the whole flower, beauty, happiness, and eternal renewal. Painted as a study in unrestricted openness — the astral body, unguarded, fully turned toward the light — this piece is part of the Efflorescence series within the Blossoming collection.
