There is a difference between art that decorates a room
and art that becomes part of how a room feels.
A commissioned painting is the second kind.
It begins with your space — its purpose, it’s light, the quality of atmosphere you want it to hold. It begins with what you’re reaching toward: a sense of stillness, perhaps, or warmth, or expansiveness. A visual anchor for a meditation practice. A painting that helps you enter when you walk through the door.
Together we translate that intention into something that lives on your wall — and in the room — with genuine presence.
The process is collaborative and unhurried. You bring your inspiration, your space, and your sense of what you’re calling in. I bring the craft, the contemplative depth, and a creative process rooted in over twenty years of meditation practice.
What emerges is something that belongs — not just aesthetically, but energetically — to the room it was made for.

THE COMMISSION PROCESS
Initial Conversation
A complimentary 30-minute call to explore your space — its purpose, atmosphere, scale, and the feeling you want it to hold.
In-Depth Consultation
A deeper session — in person or virtually — exploring emotional tone, color palette, symbolic language, and the qualities of presence you want the painting to carry. Typically 45–60 minutes.
Sketch Development
One or more sketches reflecting your concept, with up to three refinements. The final painting often evolves intuitively from this foundation as the work develops its own presence.
Creation
The painting begins. I share behind-the-scenes updates throughout, so you can follow the work as it unfolds.
Delivery
Pickup, local delivery, or shipping — coordinated and quoted in advance once dimensions are confirmed.
