This original painting was created after an experience during 6 weeks of meditation practices. I was in a high state, feeling enthused and in command when the presence came and lifted me into dimensions that I had no idea existed. The terrible beauty of it all was so intense I spontaneously burst into tears! Immense! An instantaneous glimpse of dimensions of consciousness I previously could never even have fathomed. Lord Ganesha holding a peacock feather that radiated light, colors, and a depth of purity – as if to show something that was rare and beautiful – even amongst the worlds of the gods. In the loving way spiritual realms can have of shattering illusions, limiting self concepts and beliefs I realized that there is so much more to existance than what I have ever conceived. And that what we are as spiritual beings is so much more than any beliefs, books or even a painting can convey.
I created this painting as a practice to strengthen my relationship to these states.
I hope that this print inspires you to consider that you are so much more than what you believe yourself to be. As you gaze upon it, you may feel a connection to these higher realms and a reminder of your own limitless potential.
About the print
This giclée print was created to high standards of reproduction with materials tested by Wilhelm-Research to resist fading and discoloration in excess of sixty years. It was printed on the Epson Surecolor P9000 printer utilizing the ten color Ultrachrome HDX inkset with results in wide color gamut, excellent color saturation and unrivaled sharpness.
The conservation grade paper has a weight of 290 gsm and a caliper of 19 mils. Composed of 100% cotton fiber, the paper is acid and lignin free and milled in Italy.
The genuine 24k gold leaf is applied with an acid free water based size.
As with all fine art, for maximum longevity, this print shall not be displayed in direct sunlight nor subject to extremes of temperature and humidity.
