The first time I fell in love with the sky was in 8th grade.

I did a science project that involved creating a large hand drawn poster of the different categories of cloud types.

Etherial cirrus clouds.

Poofy cumulus.

The structure of a cumulonimbus or thunderhead.

Since I’ve been painting skies in the last two years  I have paid special attention to cloud formations and sky views.

Recently on a late night Youtube bender I stumbled upon some 4k timelapse video of  a storm.

It was beautiful!

A chance to see a whole system in motion.

It is the work of a photographer and videographer named Mike Olbinski, who is incredibly dedicated and has a talent for hunting down and capturing amazing moments.
